Saffron Building Society launches Solicitors' Online Reserve account

Saffron Building Society, the regional mutual serving East Anglia, has announced the launch of a new Solicitors' Online Reserve account. The account is designed to hold non-designated client funds and offers immediate access with attractive interest rates.

Saffron's online reserve account can be opened with a minimum of £1,000 and has a maximum balance of £5,000,000. Accounts with funds of £50,000 pay an attractive interest rate of 1.75% (gross/ AER p.a.) and those with funds of £1,000 - £50,000 will receive an interest rate of 1.50% (gross/ AER p.a.).

Solicitors can access the account online at www.saffron.co.uk. Payment to the account is made via electronic transfer and can be added to the account via direct payment or direct debit by either transferring online or by phone.

John Eastgate, Sales and Marketing Director of Saffron Building Society, said: "As one of the leading providers of online corporate deposit accounts, we offer a range of business savings accounts for both large and small businesses alike. The Solicitors' Online Reserve not only pays a competitive interest rate, but offers easy, immediate access to funds. The online operation makes it ideal for busy firms who find postal applications and transactions time consuming and inefficient. By transacting online, Solicitor firms can access or transfer funds at the click of a mouse."

"This bespoke online account for Solicitors is, as far as we know, unique to the market, and it is our hope that the competitive rate and ease of use will make it an attractive alternative to branch or postal investments. We look forward to helping more businesses to get the most from their funds".

These are limited offers and Saffron Building Society reserves the right to withdraw product offers. Full product details can be found at www.saffronbs.co.uk

All information correct at time of going to print.

The account's Early Exit fee will be wavered in the event of the death of the investor.
