Claims Process
We all hope we will never need to make a claim, but we know that it's when things go wrong that you really need us. Our policies include a compulsory claims management service, ensuring that you have our support should you need it.
Through our partnership we provide you with access to a local claims team who will handle any question or query regarding your claim during normal business hours. Experienced specialists are on hand to ensure that your claim is sorted with as little disruption to you as possible. If you have an emergency we are available 24/7.
Making a claim:
Step 1. Information
Before you call make sure that you have as much information as possible, including your broker reference number, details of the claim, and of other parties involved.
It's always a good idea to write down what has happened, we all forget small details that could be important.
Step 2. Call us
We have an emergency claims helpline which is open 24/7. Our claims team are available within normal Mon - Fri business hours to answer and questions or queries regarding your claim.
Step 3. Registering the claim
The claims team will register your claim with the insurer and give you an indication of time scales and further steps.
Step 4. Keeping you up to date
We will make sure that you have regular updates regarding your claim using your preferred method of contact.
Step 5. Settlement of claim
Our role is to make sure that all claims are settled fairly for both parties, the insured and insurer. We regularly receive words of thanks from satisfied customers for the service they have received throughout their claim.

Research suggests that one in 10 adults have made a fraudulent claim, so it's inevitable that insurers will want to prove unequivocally the events of an accident, the value of the cars involved and the cost of rebuild and repairs are accurate.
What to do in the event of a motor accident:
- Do not admit liability under any circumstances.
- If you are not injured call us immediately on 0844 412 2416 to report the accident.
- Notify the police in the event of any personal injuries.
- If possible take photographs of all the vehicles involved and the area.
- Obtain the following details from the other party/parties:
- Name, address and phone numbers of all persons involved in the accident.
- All vehicle registration numbers and make/models.
- Name, address and phone number of any witnesses.
